Flowstate — SaaS Project Management Tool

B2B SaaS · Series A Startup · San Francisco

3.8×

conversion lift

The brief: Flowstate had a beautiful product and zero personality on their landing page. Generic "streamline your workflow" messaging. Competitors were eating their lunch because every PM tool sounded identical. They needed a homepage that made teams feel something — and then sign up.

Your project plan shouldn't need its own project plan.

Flowstate strips project management back to what actually matters: who's doing what, by when, and what's blocking them. No 47-tab dashboards. No certification required. Just clarity.

Rooted Grounds — DTC Coffee Launch

E-commerce · Direct-to-Consumer · Los Angeles

52%

open rate

The brief: Rooted Grounds was launching a single-origin subscription box and needed a 3-email welcome sequence that didn't sound like every other "Welcome to the family!" drip. The audience: coffee snobs who hate being marketed to but love being respected.

Most welcome emails tell you how excited they are that you signed up. We'll skip that part — you already know what you want.

Your first box ships Thursday. Inside: a single-origin Ethiopian Yirgacheffe that tastes like blueberry jam and black tea had a very good conversation. We roasted it 72 hours ago. By the time it hits your grinder, it'll be at peak flavor.

One thing we don't do: surprise you with beans you didn't ask for. Every month, you pick your roast. We just make sure it's extraordinary.

That Ethiopian Yirgacheffe in your box? It's forgiving — but it rewards precision.

Here's the 90-second version: 205°F water, 1:16 ratio, medium-fine grind. Pour slow. The first sip should make you close your eyes.

If it tastes sour, grind finer. Bitter? Coarser. That's it. No manifesto required.

Two options for March. Both exceptional. Both limited.

A washed Guatemalan that's all chocolate and orange peel. Or a natural-process Colombian that's juicy in a way that'll make you suspicious it's actually coffee.

Pick yours before Friday. The last batch sold out in 19 hours, and we'd rather not send you the apology email again.

Bare Ritual — Skincare Product Descriptions

E-commerce · DTC Skincare · New York

+28%

add-to-cart rate

The brief: Bare Ritual's products were clinically effective but their descriptions read like lab reports. They needed copy that communicated efficacy without the jargon — speaking to women who care about ingredients but don't want a chemistry lecture with every purchase.

The Overnight Reset

$48 · 30ml

While you sleep, this serum is working. 2% bakuchiol (retinol's gentler, plant-based cousin) paired with hyaluronic acid to plump and smooth without the morning-after irritation. Wake up looking like you slept 9 hours. Even if you slept 5.

Daily Shield SPF 40

$36 · 50ml

Sunscreen that doesn't feel like sunscreen. No white cast. No greasy film. No excuse to skip it. Zinc oxide + niacinamide work double duty: block UV damage and calm redness in real time. Sits under makeup like it was always there.

The Acid Rinse

$32 · 150ml

A gentle daily exfoliant that does the heavy lifting without the drama. 5% mandelic acid dissolves dead skin and unclogs pores while lactic acid keeps moisture locked in. Your skin will glow — but subtly, not "I just got a facial" obviously.

Barrier Balm

$42 · 45ml

For skin that's been through it — over-exfoliated, wind-burned, stressed. Ceramides, squalane, and oat extract rebuild your moisture barrier in days, not weeks. Thick but absorbs fast. The SOS your face didn't know it needed.
